Photo: A perfect place for an island drink, Antigua

I’ve been sailing the islands since 2006. During that time, hundreds of guests have become friends. Those friends grew to love the ocean like I do.

Who Am I?

In 2005 I went on a sailing vacation, just like the one you’d like to take, and it changed my life. I was working in Chicago and was tired of the rat race. So, in 2006, I packed my bags and moved to St. Martin.

I took a job as a mate and dive master aboard a charter catamaran, and after a year, I had my first captains license. 18 years and thousands of sea miles later, I still love to share the magic of the islands with friends old and new.

During that time, I’ve worked on sailing and power yachts big and small, and explored the Eastern US, Bahamas, and the Caribbean. Along the way, I became an American Sailing Association instructor, done some fantastic dives, hiked volcanos, and lounged on some amazing beaches.

I now hold a US Coast Guard Master of Vessels 200GRT/500GT with a 100GRT sailing endorsement.

I teach ASA courses 101, 103, 103, and 114. With these certificates you can captain your own bareboat charter and sail yourself into the sunset.
